Flyers vs. the Pens recap

So I am still awaiting my epic victory. Dammit.

I think it’s harder when the boys play a good game and lose. Especially the way they lost last night because Crosby, who is now officially my #1 arch nemesis, totally didn’t deserve those goals. I can’t stand him.

Like, I can grudgingly admit when an opposing player has skill. Like yea, Malkin has been pretty on fire this season. But like, Crybaby doesn’t even deserve my admission. Such a whiny, dirty player. Despising him. I haz it.

The officials were awful btw. How they missed Harts almost getting his nose ripped off was beyond me. I mean, hello, he was one of the puck handlers. If you’re not watching the puck then you shouldn’t be a ref sry2say.

I really hope Thoresen gets a goal in one of these final games. He is such a quality player; he’s out there playing his heart out every night and man oh man do I love his chemistry with Richie and Lupes. He just really deserves his first goal as a Flyer.

I know a lot of people were pissed that Upshall wasn’t in last night. I wasn’t thrilled about it either, but we knew Johnny was going to make room for Umbie’s return. And unfortunately, Scottie U is known to take bad penalties. Though that seemed to be the theme last night with Harts and his billion turns in the sin bin (not that his anger wasn’t justified, but still). But I hope Scottie’s in tomorrow night, I love his energy and speed.

I just really hope the boys can pull it together these next two games. I remain optimistic; they’ve managed to pull off some victories during “must win” situations this year, so I hope they can do it again. We just have so many guys who are made of awesome, if they all play their hardest, we could be UNSTOPPABLE ::cackles::
