Why must they be poked in the eye?? I wish we could clone Kimmo. He is one of a kind. I just really, really hope one of the other d-men step up. What I like about this team right now is that everyone has stepped up since playoffs and I think a lot of our forwards have been playing good in our zone, too. So that's a plus. But man oh man if Modes or Gator could be really awesome right about now... Why? Why must they be poked in the eye??

As if it wasn’t hard enough already, now they lose a key defensive element when it’s need the most. I don’t know if there is anyone of the same caliber to replace him. The choices are slower less skilled and prone to drawing penalties. The one thing they can’t afford to give up. Talk about being up against a rock and a hard place.
